Very good condition, just some vertical fold and other creases.

A semicircular Honiton applique bonnet veil, on machine tulle. Snails/slugs style, nothing remarkable about the pattern, what is remarkable is the accompanying documentation, if it is accurate.

Provinance:
Letter dated November 3, presumably 1963 from the envelope postmark. This note indicates "Alfie" work it at his christening some 89 years ago, which would put the date around 1874.
